Two Paths, One Mission
There is the supported path.
And there is the path walked alone. With a roof overhead.
Or without any sense of safety. With a human chain to hold you.
Or in complete isolation. One stay can mean the difference
between relapse… and rebuilding a life.To fund a stay
is, at times, to save a life.
A true rebuilding.
In the time it genuinely requires.
Stays at Soberlab Stations last from one to six months.
These are not brief interventions.
They are periods of deep transformation. Here, rebuilding is never rushed.
It is honored. Each year, dozens of individuals
regain a roof, a structure, and their dignity
within our two homes. Our annual goal: $300,000
to support these stays
and make recovery truly accessible.Because sobriety of the heart
should never depend on financial means.

A space to rise again and rebuild self-worth.
What does a stay at a Soberlab Station actually look like?It is not therapy.
It is a safe space to rebuild — whether after things have fallen apart, or before they do.It is structured care.
It is responsibility, held with compassion.• A supportive living environment
1 to 6 months in one of our two homes | $2,600 / month
• A structured and inspiring framework
• The C.H.O.I.X. pathway to develop awareness
• A committed community
• Creative workshops, reconnection spaces, and group meetings
• Activities, nature, and shared meals
• Time. Space. Dignity.
Restored dreams. Reunited families. Here, we do not “save cases.”We walk alongside human beings in their evolution,
on the path toward sobriety of the heart.

This is Constance.
A young woman who found her dignity again,
her dreams, and her joy for life. And first — a roof.
A structure.
Safety.
Time.
Love.Rebuilding is possible.There are others,
men and women,
who are ready to continue their journey.Let’s give every Constance a chance.
What if it were your child?
What if it were your son?
What if it were your daughter? You would want them to have a roof.
Structure. Support. Love.
A real chance to rebuild their life.Every person who walks through our doors
is someone’s child.
Someone’s dream.
Someone’s hope.And that mother, that father —
they don’t always have the means
to offer this time, this support,
after years of addiction and self-destruction.But together, we can make a real difference.Together, we can save lives. The Sobriety Chain Foundation exists
so that no one has to walk this path alone.
Stays transform lives.Cinema transforms the way we see.Ma Vie Sans Moi is a distinct cinematic project,
written and directed by Éliane Gagnon.Inspired by journeys of rebuilding,
this film carries the same vision of dignity and hope.

FOR CONSTANCEThe time to find herself again.
To learn how to dream again.
To rebuild her sense of worth.
To become who she has always been. One stay = one life rebuilt.
FOR HER FAMILYHope returning.
Sleep restored.
Pride replacing worry.
Their daughter finding her way back to herself. One stay = one family finally able to breathe again.
FOR THOUSANDS OF OTHERSA film that says: you are not alone.
Words to help others understand what they cannot see.
A path forward, when none seemed to remain. One film = thousands of people who finally feel seen.

Éliane Gagnon
My name is Éliane Gagnon.
I founded Soberlab, and through the Sobriety Chain Foundation,
I set out to create a space for those who carry dreams in their hearts—
but have no means to reclaim them.Brilliant, sensitive, creative human beings
who didn’t need to be saved,
but needed a place to breathe again,
to create, and to simply be—without the weight of past shame. The system funds survival.
We fund dreams.
Because dreams keep people alive. Literally. The Sobriety Chain was born from this conviction:
we don’t rebuild ourselves simply by stopping consumption,
but by rediscovering meaning, reclaiming our dreams,
and finding a safe place to land.
